CKCS Playground Update

Where we are:

    1. Statistics/guidelines/ADA
    2. Identified inequities between CKCS playground equipment and other schools. Identified by Conzemius and prioritized to Facilities Management Group
    3. Recommend working within district process with guidance
      1. Process is as follows:
        1. Principle from site presents Facility Director, Ken Kietzke, with maintenance list.
        2. Maintenance/Facility group compiles all requests
        3. Facility Group presents to district administration for allocation of resources
        4. Done by budget cycle and as needed

Playground configuration idea:

    1. Could just upgrade equipment to meet guidelines
    2. Divide the playing area into primary and intermediate play spaces, like Country View. Right now we really don’t have an intermediate play space.

1st qtr Raise funds for remaining amount

Late spring Order and install equipment

Funding GUESSTAMATE:

$10,000.00 for upgrade to equipment meeting guidelines

$12,000.00-$15,000.00 for the divided place space concept
